Do you know the Snapchat hacks you should try? Snapchat is the latest platform that has taken the world of social media by storm? Snapchat has experienced remarkable growth since its launch in September 2011. The Venice, California-based organization currently boasts over 190 million daily active users and 14 billion average video views. Snapchat found a way to go against the grain in a social media era where moments of saving and preserving have become the norm.
Every single moment with Snapchat is temporary. It’s about interactions at the moment about which you can always read more. Snapchat helps us to share instant, self-destructing images, videos, and messages in its rawest form (also known as ‘Snaps’). Photos and videos will last from one to ten seconds anywhere, and users will be able to embellish each Snap with captions, sketches, and filters.
When you have seen a Snap, it’s gone forever. Although Snapchat’s temporary existence may sound a little weird when you think about how we communicate with each other daily, Snapchat imitates behavior that is closer than any other social network. As a user you must know what is SMH means on Snapchat. If you don’t know you should read this article too.
Six Crazy Snapchat Hacks that One Can Try with
1. Applying Snapchat Lenses After Taking A Snap:
Snapchat has recently announced a new feature for its Android app’s beta version, which allows the user to use face lenses even after clicking a picture. Snapchat will display a ‘Smiley’ icon below the ‘Paperclip’ connect icon after you click on a map. Click it to view the full range of face lenses as you do when applying them before the image.
Note the function only works if the face is evident in full. If your photo doesn’t show your face clearly, the app won’t display the Smiley icon that gives you access to the face lenses. Talking of Snapchat lenses, do you know that you might also be using Snapchat lenses on your Mac or Windows PC? Well, you can use them to play games with Snapchat filters on Twitch, or even make video calls with the Snapchat filters added to your face.
2. Recognizing Songs With Shazam Integration:
While it is not an innovation, many people still do not know about it. So tell me, do you know that Snapchat’s Shazam integration can be used to classify the songs that are playing? If you haven’t learned, don’t worry because I will teach you how to do just that. What you need to do is open the app, and click and hold the viewfinder of the camera until the user recognizes the song.
3. Sharing Stories Outside Snapchat:
With the latest update, Snapchat now enables you to post stories outside the web, too. Instead of tapping on an account to see it, tap and hold to carry options to post a story outside Snapchat. You can find the opportunity to share the story outside of the app here as well.
4. Sending Money Through Snapchat:
Just a few months ago, Snapchat launched a Snapcash feature, which enables users to send their friends’ money. That said, unfortunately, the function is currently only available for now in the U.S. If you live in the U.S. and want to use this app, you’ll need to set up your payment first. To do so, first, tap the camera app’s profile icon and then tap the gear key. Scroll down here to find the choice Snapcash, and tap to configure it.
Note, to use this function. You must be over the age of 18. You will need to enter your credit/debit card information first, and then add it to your account. When you do that, open the chat and type the sum you want to send to the person you want to send money. If you’re going to spend 5 dollars, for example, type in “$5.” When you type it, the send button will turn to a Snapcash button immediately.
Click the Snapchat button on the keyboard, or Send button, and then confirm your transaction. Because the app is only available in the U.S., we won’t be able to show you the whole procedure, but if you follow the steps, it will just be perfect.
5. Using Audience Analytics:
Snapchat recently launched a feature called Snapchat Insights for developers that allows them to see an overview of Story Views and View Time by week, month, and year. Tap first on bitmoji in the upper-left corner of the camera screen to enter your analytics line. Tap the Insights click, now. Two separate analytics parameters will be given here by Snapchat.
6. Snapchat Context Cards:
Snapchat has also recently launched a new app called Context Cards that enables users to obtain contextual knowledge about Snapchat stories by swiping them. The Context Cards include details such as feedback from critics and consumers, directions to the location, operating hours, contact phone numbers, rides from ride-sharing services, and more. Remember, if a story has a background card attached, it will show an up arrow with the word “more” written below it. Do you know what is the meaning of X next to Snapchat?
